when one family member is infected, every family member is affected, i love how well that is put . . . and how here where you were a little goes a long way . . . and how all our consumerism together for purchases of (red) helps out here, providing them with the arv's from the global fund. just a precious window that bridges that distance between what each of us are doing and where it's going, who it's benefitting.

i'm really glad you shared this. we see bright futures in this land of broken lives and homes thanx to the arv's and hope that is empowering them.

tamsin, i was hoping to see your dancing here too. you must have had a hand in the editing! our loss.

Thank you so much, bn, for posting this video of Christy's impressions from Swaziland. It is very much appreciated!

It seems like this trip to Africa really made a positive impression on Christy - the people, the culture, the landscape.

To think that AIDS and extreme poverty could easily threaten the future of such a rich cultural heritage is troubling. It is heartening to know that Christy Turlington Burns can be counted on to be a major public part of our common struggle to make extreme poverty (and AIDS) history!

Thank you, Christy, for all that you have done for (RED) and all that you will do in the future for (RED). Your contributions are very much appreciated.~
