That means if you buy a (product)red iPod, at no extra cost, money goes to the fight against AIDS. But is that enough? How about this? What would happen, say, if they always gave money to the AIDS campaign, if Apple gave a little every time an iPod was sold and everytime a computer was sold. Everytime anything was sold. It is a step in the right direction, but it is not a step enough. We as "first world" consumers do have power. But YOU as first world companies have even more. Make a real change. Give money, no matter what, what could you lose? Imagine the press, "Apple to Give Percentage of Income to Fight AIDS." What expense is it to you? You make more than enough money as it is. I am sure you make more mone in a year than many African countries deal with in a year. Consider that. And then consider your responsability, as a company, to the world. And consumers, a step in the right direction is good, but remember that is it never enough.
