At (RED) we love nothing more than listening to great music with the people that make (RED). So today we’re launching the (RED) ROOM in turntable.fm - a new social media music platform that lets anyone be a DJ. Say hello to DJ WI(RED)!
Our first set will be our ‘15 songs for 2015’ playlist which was crowd sourced from (RED)’s friends on Facebook,Twitter and Foursquare. Why 15 songs for 2015? Because at (RED) we are fighting for an AIDS Free Generation by 2015. Every day 1,000 babies are born with HIV and by 2015 that number can be nearly zero.
Thanks to everyone who suggested songs for the playlist. We also asked you which song we should kick off with. After more than 3,000 votes on Facebook, you decided on U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name.”
Here’s the playlist DJ WI(RED) will be spinning at 5pm ET TODAY:
1 U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name
2 Matisyahu ft Akon - One Day
3 Jay-z & Kanye West - Otis
