A few weeks ago, we got an email from a Microsoft employee named Brittanie who wanted to show off her colleagues’ support of (RED).
Here are the photos from Microsoft’s annual briefing – even with 12,000 stuffed into an arena, these folks were able to shine in their (RED) gear. This team of 15 spent their entire team-building budget on (RED) items to support the Global Fund, instead of going out to dinner together. They even presented a slide show at the conference to show how (RED) money will affect the lives of people affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.
Brittanie told us that their efforts were spearheaded by her colleague Greg, who has performed outreach work in Africa, which makes him a prime candidate to be a (RED) supporter! Greg shares his stories Greg Urquhart Space. Greg’s page features photos alongside an extensive blog about his journeys, which make for very worthwhile viewing.

hi! i read your blog on a daily basis...its always great to hear about the exciting things happening with (RED)my company supports your work via our private sector clients but i'd like to go beyond just buying products (i'll always buy them!) how can i participate in a fact-finding trip to africa with RED?

Thanks bn for this GREAT story of how the employees at Microsoft have decided to "GO (RED)"!
I think that this sort of effort by private businesses can be emulated around the country and around the world.
I hope that (RED) will find ways to package ideas like Greg's to others corporations to spread the word about (RED) and the TREMENDOUS GOOD which (RED) money does for some of the world's poorest people through the Global Fund.
And thanks Greg for your stellar efforts for (RED) at Microsoft. You have made many a (RED) Heart happy. (smile)
