that is beautiful, very similar to the storefronts i've seen in seattle and in seattle's university district. i notice that not all GAP stores have (red) displays in their window anymore let alone prominent in the stores . . . is this a local decision in that we as buyers could encourage the shops to do so, or is it outside their hands? the new prints on the shirts this season are just breath-taking, absolutely amazing. the shapes of africa with the redwords wallpapered in them. earthtone colors. i love them.

great work everyone. GAP seems to have become such an active, whole hearted partner in this venture, from my perspective anyway. that is sign of a great and prosperous partnership. i'll be in seattle next week, if the display in the baby department is still there, i'll ask if i can photo it, when i descended the escallator it took my breath away. i was unaware the variety of onesies and colors. and the giftwrap was coordinated, they did a great job.

take care and stay close,

sammi =)

I admire Gap for joining Red. In fact, with the huge revenue generated by clothing companies, combined with the good image of helping society, it's really shameful that more clothing companies have not joined forces.

I work for Ralph Lauren, and I think the ridiculously overpriced clothing could afford to donate 10% to help AIDS research.

Meh, capitalism at it's finest, I suppose...
