MAKE MINE (RED)... and Black

Recently a Mets fan sent photos of her new Converse (PRODUCT) RED shoes that she'd designed on MAKEMINERED.COM, which got me thinking that it's about time for me to design another pair.

Here's what MetsGrrl sent us:

I just designed a pair in red and black, my first pair of Converse (PRODUCT) RED slip-ons – this option is a new addition to the MAKE MINE RED family:

What's your design? Get creative and send them to us at moblog@joinred.com! Go to MAKEMINERED.COM to start.

man, i'm thinking that if this could become popular in the NBA, MLB, NFL, these fans are so often wonderously rabid, how awesome that would be. here in seattle in the sonics store, the mariner's store, the seahawks shops . . . our team colors, i could see them around town everywhere. what are the chances?

i wish i could remember who it was who ordered these shoes in Vertigo tour designs and colors. they were really sharp, really classy. and still available. i really like the distressed styles that are available at GAP right now. but hey, really reasonable to have them personalized. that last set of grommets that are red, just a perfect touch.

ah, just a fan of a great shoe here. glad to see this self-designing feature being featured again.

great work everyone, stay close,

sammi =)

I ordered my customized (RED) Converses several months ago and I THINK THAT THEY'RE GREAT!

I ordered them in red, white and black and I had the words
"ONE RED LOVE" stitched on the sides of my shoes.

I only wear them at special occasions because I hope to keep them in the BEST condition possible but I get many POSITIVE RESPONSES back from the people who see them!

Hopefully some of them have gone and ordered their own "Make Mine Red" customized Converses.

Thanks, bn, for letting us know just how many different kinds of shoes can be made with the customized (RED) Converses.

If you don't have a pair of these shoes yet - GET SOME!

It'll make you feel good to know that you're helping the Global Fund save lives in Africa through your purchase of a pair of some VERY COOL SHOES.~

Take very good care of each other. Blessings will always be around.

ALWAYS (RED) AT HEART, debbie :)
